Still riding the high of a successful mission, both the short term and her personal long term one, Sabine enters and heads to the garage.
She just HAS to tell someone, and Jay and his drones seem the safest. She can't see anyway the news she wants to shout can get back to the Empire if she tells him.
The trick is if he's here or not.

One of them spots her and beeps a happy greeting.

She'll pause once she's close enough to see what Jay's working on, both enjoying the music and the chance to see new techniques.

Jay looks up at their greeting, giving her a wave and turning the music down a bit. The parts of the battery pack he's working on are spread out on the bench, blue prints projected onto a canvas wall. "Hey. How's it going?"

"Pretty awesome actually," she answers, beaming. "I saw something awesome today, and cleared the air with my captain."
She pauses before describing the graffiti, wondering if she's told him about the Empire and if he'd understand it's significance. "Have I told you much of the political climate in my galaxy?"

"Some of you learn." Jay mutters, shaking his head as he has to wave one of them away from his work.
He puts it aside to talk to her. "Only that things kinda sucked. But I take it your awesome thing is going to make things better for your world?"

"That's one way to put it. Those in power are...well, it's their way and only their way. The galaxy is their resource and they will use it, strip mining whole planets, regardless of whether it's inhabited or not. And they don't take care of those left behind."
"I know it sounds hyperbolic, but I've seen it happen. It's happening on the world I'm on right now. Well, the early stages. Farmers are losing their land, either being told what to farm and being allowed to farm it, or being forced off by military personal."
Sabine pauses, caution occurring to her. "Could you guys make sure no one's around listening and no devices are doing the same?" she asks the drones, looking towards them as is proper. They blink a sequence and two fly off to check the perimeter.
Turning back to Jay, she explains. "Sorry, I'm seeing more people from my reality and those in power define seditious talk broadly."
"So the crew I'm working with is helping as we can, small things, but we try. I've been leaving tags at each sight. Just a little poke at the Empire's nose and to show the locals it's possible to speak out."
"Today I saw a tag that wasn't mine. The first I've seen since we landed."

"Guys, can you set up a screen for us, please?" The drones beep an affirmative and spread out, forming a perimeter around them. "White noise field. No-one can listen in without us knowing."
He grins at that. "So, people have picked up your battle cry? That's awesome."

"I have to be careful now, and guide the conversation. Can't have people getting arrested for just painting. I need to figure out how to not get them too riled up either. We need t strike out against the Empire, but not until we're ready."
